PROAS4 - Promoting European AS4 Access Points 1/2
Written by: Redactie Easy Systems April 2020
Easy Systems is participating in the PROAS4 Action. The main objective of this project is to implement the AS4 protocol and upgrade the Service Metadata Publishers (SMP) of 5 certified PEPPOL Access Points (AP) for the cross-border exchange of electronic documents.
Description
The main objective of this Action is to implement the AS4 protocol and upgrade the Service Metadata Publishers (SMP) of 5 certified PEPPOL Access Points (APs) of the consortium partners (Pinkroccade, Transalis, Elcom, Easy Systems and Digital Cab, coordinated by ESAM). These APs are connected to their eDelivery solutions used by public and private entities from different Member States (i.e. Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom) for the cross-border exchange of electronic documents.
These eDelivery solutions were developed according to the elDAS Regulation (Regulation EU 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services) and its requirements. The Action will hence ensure the upgrade of the eDelivery solutions of the beneficiaries by migrating them from the AS2 to AS4 as a mandatory process defined by Open PEPPOL.
After implementation of this Action, the current clients of the EDI providers will be able to use the same consortium PEPPOL APs, but compliant with the CEF eDelivery AS4 protocol.
